Big Newspaper, Wallpaper glue, wall, paper, night time and lots of street Art…These are my friends, we know each other well, we rise and fall like the seasons, we are not here to stay, we are here to fade away.

I met Daniel when I was stuck in Israel in 2011, it was at the Vision Tattoo shop in Tel-Aviv, I was curious about his actions since he was filming the tattoo artists in a very interesting way, I notice his passion right away and after a short talk I knew he was one of the good guys. We decided to hit the streets together, me with my post-up Artworks and him with his impressive video gear and vision, we had great time running around the streets at night and got fantastic action both from his perspective and mine. A few months passed away and everything including the artworks has faded, lucky for me Daniel took some time off and did an amazing visual compilation of that night.

Enjoy!

Great creative use of a brand identity rolled out over corporate stationary.

Lovely, creative type work. Reminds me of works by Anthony Forster. Amazing variety with plenty of eye catching character.

Beautifully designed business card with simple geometric shapes for the brand. One of the simplest yet memorable logo design on a business card i’ve seen in a long time. Unfortunately I don’t know who made it!

A great collection of double page spreads with powerful typography utilized within modern feel. The designs create a unique and attractive spread which follows a trend which I can see becoming more and more popular with designers.

While they may look cute on paper, the legibility and message is kind of… well, lost. A number of artworks now days aren’t even legible… and we are talking about PRINT here. Too much flourish, and function is completely out of the picture. So what’s the point of cutesy, indistinguishable block letters? Or is making the readers lost the new thing in Print?

Shouldn’t Design be a balance of aesthetic and functionality?

I’m so tired of huge capitalized letters stacked one word on top of another floating over a neon gradient or pictures of outer space. People need to quit ripping each other off and find their own style.

True, this is a personal opinion but what’s happened to designers taking inspiration from the likes of Neville Brody and David Carson? Or is it just the way technology is advancing making everyone that owns a Macintosh think there a designer?

Amazing piece of typography and I love the quote “no body in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get, but if you work really hard and your kind, amazing things will happen!”

This type treatment by Stefan chinof shows great creativity towards brand identity and how you can adapt creative thinking towards the dullest of identity designs.
